Namibia Family Trip

Day 1:

Arrival at Windhoeck international Airport where you will be met by Fivesenses Representative driver. You will be driven to the Car rental partner when a briefing of your vacation will be displayed, you will receive the key of your Jeep, a small training to manage your car and all the tips for your trip. Direction your hotel on the way to your hotel, you will be able to make a stop at the supermarket to buy some groceries etc.

Night at the hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast, let’s go for adventure, on your way to the north of the country you will admire beautiful landscape; maybe spot some cheetah, stop to Okahandja local market, you will find wood objects, clothes material, handmade jewelry etc.

Night at the hotel, (5H) drive.

Day 3:

This day will be spent in Game drive ar Etosha park who is one of the largest national parks in Africa, spotting, zebras, elephants, rhino etc…after your game drive you will join your logde. There is the option to take a guide for the game drive (50 dollars/person).

Day 4:

After breakfast, you will continue the Game drive on your own or the help of the guide, kids will be amazed by the different species inside the park, don’t forget your binoculars, to do not miss the gnous, springbox, giraffe etc.

Night at the lodge.

Day 5:

After breakfast, spend your last day at the park, enjoy the fauna flora, spotting more animals like lions, cheetah etc.

Overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 6:

After hearty breakfast, depart to explore Epupa waterfalls, you will meet the local tribe called himba tall and slender, their skins rubbed with red ochre, they seem to be forgotten by the rest of the world, but this is only as a result of their extreme isolation and conservative way of life. You will discover “their traditions like “bathing is a forbidden rule, women take a smoke bath and apply aromatic resins. Be aware Mrs, it’s on their tradition to offer their women to their guest for one night…. It will be an unforgettable experience.

Day 7:

Explore Epupa waterfalls surrounded of a luxurious fauna and flora (palm tree, baobab tree etc…) walking around this nature will give the opportunity to recharge your battery and admire different bird’s species.

Night at the camp.

Day 8:

Departure to the south, surrounded by enormous rock, you’re going to cross the Himba territory, you will perceive different village, and a fascinating nature between oasis, animals, and landscape your eyes will be everywhere but focus on the road of course. (between 5-6h drive).

Night at Sesfontein.

Day 9:

Departure to the biggest mountains in Namibia, wear your good shoes for a “promenade” walk between these mountains, you can visit the White lady (known for the rustic animals like zebras, and elephants in total freedom) by your own or with a guide. You have the options to take a hot air balloon, to discover the region from the sky.

Night at White Lady lodge. (total of 4h drive).

Day 10:

Departure to Swakopmund, a city between the sea and the desert, after 3h drive you will enjoy the freshness of the coast. Up to you to decide if you want to walk on the desert sand or beach sand. You will explore the city between local shop and local restaurants.

Night at the hotel.

Day 11:

Free time at Swakopmund with your (Tips brochure) enjoy the activities offered by the city. The African Neighborhood, beaches activities, desert activities etc…

Day 12:

Departure to Namib Naukluft park (6H), western Namibia, situated between the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and the edge of the Great Escarpment. It encompasses part of the Namib Desert (considered the world’s oldest desert), the Naukluft mountain range, and the lagoon at Sandwich Harbour. The best known area of the park and one of the main visitor attractions in Namibia is Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by sand dunes, and Sesriem, a small canyon of the Tsauchab.

Day 13:

Free time at Sossuvlei, observe the beauty of the nature, These dunes are the tallest in the world, in places rising more than 300 meters (almost 1000 feet) above the desert floor. The dunes taper off near the coast, and lagoons, wetlands, and mudflats located along the shore attract hundreds of thousands of birds.

Day 14:

Return to Windhoeck (5h drive), your last day before the end of the trip, you may want to stop by the mall to make your last shopping or enjoy the nice local foods on various restaurants, enjoy the pool at the hotel etc…

Night at the hotel.

Day 15:

Breakfast, and then enjoy your last hours on the capital. Transfer to the airport.
