First Step in Senegal

Day 1:

Arrival at Blaise Diagne airport, transfer to the hotel with your guide, dinner on a sea front view restaurant.

Day 2:

Breakfast and departure to Gorée Island, the door of no return is a memorial to the Atlantic slave trade on Gorée Island, 3 km off the coast of the city of Dakar with your guide, lunch on the island and return to the hotel at 2pm. Free afternoon.

Day 3:

Breakfast, visit to Leopold SedarSenghor house, the first president of Senegal. Lunch to a local restaurant, visit to the local market and then visit of the revolution monument made in 2015 and costing $27 million with a height of 49metre is over one and a half-time the height of the Statue of Liberty.

Dinner and Night at the hotel.

Day 4:

After breakfast departure to saint Louis with your guide, 4 hours from Dakar transfer to your new hotel. Enjoy the lunch then free time until 5pm for the tour. A carriage will wait for you outside the hotel to make a city tour, and cross the bridge as the 18th century with your carriage, you will admire all the important monuments. Saint Louis was a strategic, politic and business hub .we still feel her glorious past.

Day 5:

7:30am departure to Djoudj Park (bird sanctuary) for a boat ride. You will be able to spot different species of birds flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, herons, little egrets, spurred lapwing, terns, gulls and seagulls.

The driver will pick you in direction to “langue de barbarie” for lunch, you’re going to reach Dakar on evening.

Day 6:

Breakfast and then departure to the pink lake located in 35 km from Dakar, ride on pirogue (small traditional wood boat). Lunch surrounded by the lake. Transfer to the hotel at 2pm and then free afternoon.

Breakfast, then transfer to the airport (Blaise Diagne).
