Day 1: Nairobi

When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative, a short safari briefing, then transferred by a private vehicle to your booked hotel of choice in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

08:00 AM: After enjoying your buffet breakfast, check out and then depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km2 (140 sq mi) non – profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya’s Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the
Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for Chimpanzees, and generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary
enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development. When you arrive at Nanyuki, you can do Equator ceremony and take a lot of photos then continue driving towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

When you arrive at the conservancy gate, you will enjoy game drive enroute to your booked Camp.
After checking in, you will enjoy your mouth-watering Lunch.

After Lunch, spend the afternoon at your own leisure 16:00 PM: Depart for afternoon game drive in the Conservancy – Expect to see all of the Big Five here and sightings of both black rhino and white rhino are common.


18:00 PM: Return to your booked luxury Camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3 – Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Samburu National Park

8:00 AM: After buffet breakfast, check out and depart towards Samburu National Park. The drive to

Samburu National Park takes approximately 3 hours. You will pass through many villages and trading centers on your way, this will be a good opportunity to visit a local market and/or handicraft workshop.

When you arrive at Samburu game reserve park gate, you will enjoy game drive enroute to your booked Lodge/Camp of choice. After check in, you will enjoy your mouth watering Lunch.

Samburu game reserve is one of the famous destinations in East Africa. It is known for its special five

game, that is Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and Beisa Oryx. The reserve

is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction.

Kamunyak the famous Lioness that adopted a baby oryx is a resident in the reserve. Wild dog sightings and birdwatching are also a common attraction in the reserve.

Afternoon Spend at Leisure

16:00 PM: Enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve

18:00 PM: Return to your booked camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4 – Full Day Namunyak Conservancy in Samburu

06:30 AM After Mouth-watering breakfast, you will depart for Reteti Elephant Sanctuary Located in Namunyak wildlife conservancy picnic lunch – Reteti is a Samburu community owned elephant
sanctuary in Kenya. The Sanctuary takes in orphaned and abandoned elephant calves with an aim to release them back into the wild herds adjoining Reteti.

NOTE: It is important that you arrive promptly at 8.30 am or 11.30 am for the full experience. We ask that you wear dark green, if possible, otherwise shades of brown or khaki. We have two types of visit: exclusive and standard visit.

  • Exclusive visit means that no other party will be visiting the sanctuary on the same day – USD 500 per group plus USD 35 Conservancy fees per person.
  • Standard visit means you will be sharing the viewing platform and tour with other visitors for the day.

Visiting The Reteti Elephant Sanctuary is not only a unique addition to your holiday but one of the best things you can do to support the local community and help protect all the animals who are cared for there. Also note that the conservancy is the first community elephant sanctuary in Africa and the first to give women a chance to take care of the elephants. Lunch will be served in the conservancy in the form of a picnic.

Later in the afternoon, you will return to the lodge to freshen up, have dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Samburu National Reserve– Aberdares National Park

06:00 AM: Enjoy an early morning game drive in the reserve, then come back and take your mouthwatering breakfast and then check out and depart for a scenic drive to Aberdares National Park. Aberdares National Park is characterised by – Majestic Peaks, Moorlands and Intriguing Falls. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.

When you arrive at the park gate, you will enjoy game drive enroute to Aberdares country club which is the base hotel for the Ark Tree Lodge and enjoy your mouth-watering Lunch. After Lunch, you’ll be transferred to the Ark Tree Lodge with game drive enroute.

Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky – The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah’s Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!

Day 6 – Aberdares National Park – Lake Naivasha

06:30 AM: Wake up to a Mouthwatering buffet breakfast at the Ark, then after breakfast transferred to Aberdares Country Club to reclaim your left luggage.
08:00 AM: Check out and depart for Lake Naivasha. The drive takes approximately 4 hours. The drive passes through Thompsons Falls where you will stop for the amazing views and photo shoots. After taking photos you will proceed to Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies northwest of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise.
When you arrive at your booked lodge, check in, and then you will be assisted to your rooms. Then you will have your Sumptuous Lunch, in the afternoon you will go for boat ride 16:30 PM approximately: Return to your booked Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

You can also enjoy today visit to Hell’s gate National Park at an extra cost- This activity will depend on if it will be raining, if it will be raining tourists are not allowed in the park.

Day 7 – Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve

07:30 AM: After Mouth-watering breakfast, check out, and then depart for Maasai Mara National
Reserve also known as the World Cup of Safaris in Africa. The drive to Maasai Mara takes approximately 5 hours and you will enjoy spectacular views and activities along the way. You will pass through many villages and trading centers on your way, this will be a good opportunity to visit a local market and/or handicraft workshop.
When you arrive at the park gate, you will enjoy game drive enroute to your booked Camp. After checking in, you will enjoy your mouth-watering Lunch.

After Lunch, spend the afternoon at your own leisure.

16:00 PM: Depart for afternoon game drive in the park.
18:00 PM: Return to your booked Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 – Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

After Mouth-watering breakfast, you will depart for an early morning game drive with picnic lunch, a lot of wildlife is best seen early in the morning, as they feed or hunt. There are many water holes and salt licks with shady areas that attract the wildlife, and you shall be taken to these spots for the best game viewing.
Lunch will be served in the park in the form of a picnic, which will maximize your exposure to the animals. After the lunch break, you will continue with the game viewing and photographing of the enormous array of animals to be encountered.
