The Pharaoh’s Empire is well worth a journey! This ancient kingdom rewards the brave, From Cairo to the Nile, with a stop on the colorful Nubian village close to the Sudan border, rewind the time.

Day 1:

Arrival Cairo international airport, meet and assist through customs procedures. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

Breakfast at hotel. Then we will start our first day of activities in the giant city of Cairo visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Being on a back of a camel is quite an experience for us today. Stop by a papyrus factory, then we will have our included lunch. Travel to the Egyptian museum, the boy-King Tut home with over 700,000 masterpieces. Will also have a chance to see the treasures of the boy king Tut. Lunch and visit to the area of Old Cairo and the hanging church. Stroll through Khan el Khalili bazars.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3:

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to the airport for our flight to Luxor. Arrival and transfer to our cruise ship for embarkation. Lunch and then visit to the temples of Luxor and Karnak. Dinner and overnight on board of the cruise ship.

Day 4:

Breakfast on board. Cross to the west bank where we will visit the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepust in Deir el Bahari and the colossi of Memnon, crossing back to the East bank. Lunch and sailing to Edfu via Esna lock.

Dinner and overnight in Edfu.

Day 5:

Breakfast on board. Visit to the temple of Edfu by horse-carriage. Return to the ship and sailing to Kom Umbo. Arrival Kom Umbo for lunch. Visit to the temple of the 2 shared Gods Sobek and Harories. Continue sailing to Aswan.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6:

After breakfast, transfer to a jetty on the Nile River, where you’ll board a boat for Sohail Island. You’ll travel in a modern motorboat. Take in views of the Nile riverbanks on the way to Sohail Island, passing Elephantine Island along the way. Disembark on Sohail Island, and visit a traditional Nubian house to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people over a glass of welcome tea. After your time at the house, take a walk to explore the island on your own, strolling through brightly-painted villages, and chatting with the locals.

Day 7:

After breakfast, meet back up at the boat jetty, where you’ll begin the return trip to Aswan. Visit to the High Dam and the Isis temple on the Elephantine island. Return to our ship for lunch. Pm a felucca ride around the Agha Khan Mausoleum and to view the Elephantine island. Flight back to Cairo.

Day 8:

Breakfast. Free day at leisure for shopping. Dinner and transfer to the airport for our flight back home.
